STORY
Josh Jardens, a former college football star, has retrained as an advisor at a major Canadian bank. Disappointed by the excesses of financial institutions, he discovers a brand-new financial concept, cryptocurrency, via the promotions made by NekoCoin, a new Crypto currency advocating great promises, launched by the magnetic Kristina Orsova. Between faith and fascination, Josh invests his career, reputation, family and friends into the twists and turns of finance 2.0, compromising both his professional and personal life, only to discover the pitfalls and then, the benefits of this New World. Crypto is peppered with action, villains, information and appealing characters.
THE CRYPTO BACKSTORY
Loosely based on real life events, Crypto is the story of Everyman s transition into the new prevailing digital currency space. Yet few really grasp the implications. In the line of “The Big Short” meets “Wall Street” — our working man hero, Josh, meets Kristina, the Tech Temptress, which starts a domino effect as the allure of investing into the ’cool* thing, and being part of the ‘CooI’ change sells well. The underlying thematic is people make the wrong choices for the right reasons, and good intentions can pave the path to hell – but learning from one’s mistakes then helps identify the right product!
CRYPTO CURRENCY IS THE HOT TOPIC
“CRYPTO” received the Prix Lycéen 2019 from France’s Ministry of Education and of Economy. The High School Student Prize is voted for by 600 students and awarded to a work published in the current calendar year that promotes economic analysis and reflection in a novel way.

Djibril Morissette-Phan is a visual artist based in Montreal working in both the French and American comic book industry. Previous work includes several titles for Marvel: All-New Wolverine, Starlord, X-Men Gold and Journey Into Mystery, as well as Glitterbomb (Image Comics), L’Histoire de la science-fiction (Les Humanoiddes associés) and Khiém: Terres maternelles (Glénat Quebec). Djibril also maintains an art practice and has had some of his work featured in various exhibitions
WRITER I TRISTAN ROULOT
Master’s degree in business law, Tristan Roulot began his career as a comic book writer with the comedy series “Goblin’s” at Soleil, the series pass the 200,000 copies sold. Roulot immigrated to Canada, where he met Patrick Hnaff, with whom he produced “Le testament du Capitaine
Crown” (Soleil Prod), a diptych. In 2011, financier
Philippe Sabbah joined the duo to create Hedge Fund, with the ambition to unveil the background of the current financial crisis, giving Tristan Roulot the opportunity to combine his skills.
